So I was thinking that instead of giving guest characters their own pages, it would make more sense to start a single "Crossover Characters" page. There we could write individual subsections with a brief description of the series and which characters were featured. And then there could be a gallery for each series?

Example:

Fullmetal Alchemist is an anime written by blahblahblah about blah. Alfred, blah, blah, and blah were featured as guest characters in Imperial SaGa during the _____ event.

(next section)----

Monster Hunter Frontier Z is a blahblahblah game. Blahblah. These characters showed up during the blahblah event and could be obtained from the gacha.

To me this makes more sense because it keeps the Wiki focus on SaGa. (I also think it's kind of a waste of time for us to write a bunch of pages and strategies for each guest character since the events for them in Imperial don't really repeat.)

We could compile the text from the guest character pages that already exist and start from there as to not waste the work put into them. Does this sound fair?

The Saga wiki has come a long way and still growing and slowly this community is strting to grow more and more with some new users coming in recently and helping so much here. Now this wiki has for main editors are Holymoongrinder, Kimlasca Warrior, Magma Dragoon MKII and myself. And I would like to again give a big fat thank you to you all! For helping and continuing to but despite as much progress and change we have managed to bring here I mean heck this wiki even has a Discord server for 1st time!

I still feel we are lacking in community strength here ah as much as we all have put in this wiki still needs more, far more editors so i have been thinking maybe we should all try as much as we can to maybe promote this wiki? Get more aware? I am sure there are many others who love Saga all about thing is finding them. I am gonna try on my end to mention this wiki more on the different websites and platforms I often use and on social media sites like twitter and such. I already share pages from here that get edited to my twitter gonna do that more and mention this place. And I am thinking of soon promoting this wiki on community central and possibly gamefaqs too.

If at all possible can any of you give a go at it too? try when you can to get this wiki known out there or we can somehow think of a plan that`ll sit well with us all to do this. The progress is great here and is getting better but we still need more I think.

Well now I had beeen saying for awhile now I would get to SaGa Frontier 2 at some point and now well just yesterday I finally started officially playing it. I have to so from the bit of time I played that game is really awesome a underrated PS1 masterpiece of ya ask me the gorgoeus water color hand drawn scenery is sooo nice. I already kneew the music was great as I listened to muchj of the OST before playing. So Soon this wiki should be getting more data on SaGa Frontier 2 because gosh does this place need it.

Also eh I am curious has anyone here played even a bit of Saga Frontier 2? Because I wanna ask is it worth it to equip my characters with steel equipment? I see steel don`t break but most accessories I see for it lower SP by a bit on a character is the loss of SP worth it? I mean I`d much rather have unbreakable steel than breaking stiff but ehh on other end I dunno. ANother question I have is..Where in the world is the money in this game at?

Ah this game barely gives any cash to buy new stuff haha I am having nightmares of playing Romancing SaGa 1 again it was nigh impossible to gather money to buy good stuff as monsters dropped so little. Are there any bugs or glitches I can exploit to earn extra money here? Like Romancing SaGa 3 had an infinite money glitch I always used to get money in the game. Because I will run through and break weapons like it`s water because I fight monsters very often to level up stats and gain new abilities sometimes I clear out whole screen worth of enemies heh XD so I need to know ways to get cash in the game and keep atlest enough to replace whats broken...Ya know that steel equipment setup is not sounding so bad now.

So I been playing RS2 for a while now, and I'm at a point where I just have nothing to do: beaten Bokhohn and Dantarg, Noel kicked my ass só I made peace, Subier is unavailable yet, the chancellor doesn't have anything for me.

Hey, guys! Since there has been a lot of talk about standardizing character pages and data tables, I just wanted to make sure that we were all in agreeance with a few things here!

1) First and foremost, is everybody in favor of keeping the Japanese text in the data tables?

I personally think we should leave it as is (unless there is an obvious translation error) since the information is helpful to those playing Imperial SaGa or the original versions, as not all attack names were kept the same when the games were translated to English. ^^; I'm also bringing this up because of the GB games, which we have recently decided to rename from the westernized title "Final Fantasy Legend I-III" for the purpose of this wiki. I'd assume because we're trying to keep them as SaGa as possible, we will want the original Japanese names anyway, as some of the westernized name changes for attacks/weapons are...bizarre--and at times inaccurate? But it doesn't seem fair to leave them out because that's what most people probably know them by! xD

2) Who here is currently planning to create templates? Which templates will you be working on? Anything you think shouldn't be part of the template for a particular game?

3) Has anybody else here studied the Japanese language at some point in their life besides me? Just wondering because it would be nice if we could get a group of people together to work on translating character background stories, summaries, and whatnot from the manga, artbooks, and Imperial SaGa. One of my friends (who is not into SaGa) has been helping with the proofreading. My goal is to get more information up about the Seven Heroes and Abyss Lords, who got more background and personalities outside of RS2 and RS3. :) SaGa Scarlet Grace is also a very sad place right now. I started working on a translation for the game's story/summary, but got busy. ;_; So if somebody wants to write about the battle mechanics that would be super helpful! :D

I know I had another question for everybody, but I totally forgot what it was about. Whooops. Anyway feel free to add more questions and concerns for your fellow editors here. :D We might as well have a single thread as a reference as opposed to ten!

It makes me so happy to see this community slowly but steadily growing larger over time! And how much new content has come to this wiki.

Hey guys, I've been trying to find a better way to make the tables a little easier to use but wasn't able to make a whole lot of head way as the tables on the editor is kind of frustrating to work with. 

So I started messing around with some other methods of displaying the information and was able to generate this:

Character data

It's a queried table of my own data sheets but it seems a bit lighter to read. 

I'm thinking about creating a querying form that I would build into the page (if I can figure out how to do that properly) so people can do their own queries too. What do you guys think?

btw, you can change the table query by changing the "select+*" section. I want to make that portion automated in the form, of course.

Right now there are quite some pages that need attention.

• The pages for SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu: Goddess of Destiny and SaGa 3: Jikuu no Hasha: Shadow or Light. Someone could translate the pages from the japanese wiki, since they have a lot of information: [1], [2]. The latter also have it's official page still up: [3]
• The Page for SaGa Scarlet Grace. The official page has a lot of information, and I tried to get what I could from Google Translate, but I can only do so much this way.
• The above games would also need pages for it's characters.
• We should also make pages for Final Fantasy: Record Keeper and Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, since those have SaGa guest cameos on them.

Hey, guys!

I was curious how we should go about Star Style Fantasy Romsen SaGa for this wiki. It's a five volume manga by Masaru Gotsubo that was published through Square Enix. Aside from being set in a medieval fantasy world, it really has nothing to do with SaGa as far as I can tell, but I've only read Volume 1. My boyfriend was kind enough to buy me the complete set for Christmas, so I will be going through it once I have a chance. At the very least, the covers, title, and font are clearly references to the SaGa games. So do you think it should have its own page? Or should it just be included in the trivia section where appropriate?

Well now this has been on my mind for quite awhile well Romancing SaGa 1 also even though I nevert played it before I`ll include it Romancing SaGa Minstrel Song. That grey wolf Sylvan heh anyone else just absoultely love her!?

This is more aimed toward SNES RS1 cause I didn`t play MS yet but it seems like Sylvan is such an underrated character to use. Many don`t use her or bother to keep her in the team long term, but when I played Claudia`s scenario and Eule died Brau left and Sylvan had stayed so I kept her. Some people say both Sylvan and Brau arte bad cause they can`t equip anything they only have like 1 free slot for a fatestone. But I found Sylvan useful in her own ways sure her fang weapon does next to nothing damage wise to all enemies and poison fang don`t work ort damage anything...and paralyze fang doesn`t work either but I found a work around by simply changing her to a magic user (water for me) and she does awesome!

Water Gun she does decent damage with so magic is gonna be Sylvan`s friend I actually ended up keeping that lil cute wolf way up to Saruin. I would have kept the bear too but I dunno how to keep Brau in the team he does better physical damage than Sylvan. But yeah everytime I play I can`t help but keep Sylvan along she is such a cute little wolf and it`s because of her I love playing Claudia`s scenario now. Anyone else just adore that wolf? And kept her in the team?

I figured this wiki could use a fresh new look I mean it`s 2017 going on 2018 and well this wiki has had the same look for a long, long time heh making it fresh in here for a change so what think? Change is always nice every now and then.

Well now it`s been on my mind for quite awhile now but I wanna see what some of you others think of this idea first and how strongly this idea of mine will be supported. Okay Final Fantasy Legend all 3 of them I was thinking maybe the page names should be changed to Saga 1 ~ 3. It`s been erking my nerves for quite some time but those titles as we all know aren`t quite accurate especially now. So maybe a page name to reflect what they actually are would be best, Because Final Fantasy legend is pretty much like calling Final Fantasy IV Final Fantasy II still. And well That has since been corrected everywhere. So I feel like we are a bit behind on this wiki when it comes to that I think the names should be correct and leave mention of them being called Final Fantasy Legend on the page article itself instead of the opposite.

I was wondering since it`s been what? Wow howmlong since that poll has been there on the home page? Ever since I first became a new admin here. I was wondering to make things a bit fresh should it be changed now for once? I see the Whats your Favorite SaGa game poll did pretty well but eh I think is about time to switch it but to what I dunno yet.

While looking through the pages for SaGa I-III, I noticed that little excerpts for all of the characters were included, but none of these characters have their own pages. Was the plan to keep them all on one page for convenience, or would it be okay to give some of the more prominent characters their own page and image galleries? Just curious! :)

Also, is it just me or are pages for Ludwig, Sharr (Sharl?), and Black nonexistent? I have images for these characters, but I'm not sure where I should put them for the time-being.

Hello there everyone well I`ve a bit of bad news starting tomorrow I may go into hiatus for a bit and become inactive for awhile as something came up and I won`t have access to online for a bit...
