Uzume (ウズメ,Uzume?) is one of the Twelve Celestials in SaGa Scarlet Grace. She is the Celestial of performing arts, and the one who gave culture to humanity through the skills of singing and dance. Among the Celestials responsible for culture, it is said that she is the most like a star. Her priests are also said to be the most charming.[1]
Uzume's constellation depicts a figure forming a lyre, a flute, and a dancing veil; with its associated elemental affinity being Unda.
Uzume is depicted as a blonde-haired woman of fair skin and blue eyes. Her attire consists of a yellow leotard-like dress, thigh-high yellow boots, a pair of adorned yellow gloves, with one having a cloth-like part that extends to her right shoulder; a veil of black and white colors behind her hair, and a necklace. Her divinity symbol appears to be the black staff she's holding in her right hand.
Personality[]
Not much is elaborated on Uzume's personality as she doesn't make an appearance in-game. Based on the story of the Minstrel, Uzume was a capricious individual who clearly didn't like the idea of having someone match her skills.
Etymology[]
Uzume's name and role originates from the one of the Japanese deity "Ame-no-Uzume."

All Stories[]
After elaborating an item in Twai as part of the Product Development sidequest, Giselle will tell the protagonist a myth involving Uzume. In this myth, after the Firebringer had left the world, the Celestials discussed ways of bringing new light as the light had left with the old god, leaving the world sunken in darkness. Uzume tried solving this by herself, asking Imhokiel to build a stage for her. The Celestials ignored her at first; but after a while of being unable to find a solution, Imhokiel complied to her request and built the stage. Uzume started dancing, attracting the attention of Spirituals that hid behind the five planets. The Spirituals created a dim light to better see her performance, and soon joined into a single point of the firmament, creating the Sun.
Uzume is a character in the story told by the Minstrel in Rowsui in Marchiam Yaxart. In this story, a young woman possessing great prowess for dancing unintentionally mocked Uzume, to which the goddess chose to retribute by cursing her with a fixed eternal life.

When activated, Inspiration will grant the BP bar a +3 boost alongside an additional +3 to the max capacity.

Trivia[]
Giselle's myth was clearly inspired by the tale of the sun deity Amaterasu who went missing one day.
