Jamto (ヤマト,Yamato?) is a character from SaGa Scarlet Grace. A commander from the Heavy Infantry Unit of Rhonicum; Jamto only appears mostly and is usable during Urpina's side of the story.
Jamto is dressed as many of the other regional commanders. sporting a heavy armor embedded with the house symbol and wearing the trademark spiky helmet and shoulder pads.

Serious and confident in his skills, Jamto is also known for his loyalty which is something that ultimately leads to his demise.
Story[]
Urpina's Story[]
Jamto accompanies Urpina after she leaves Silmium to patrol the nearby grounds of Rhonicum per request of Antonius. Jamto leaves Rhonicum along her other retainers to help in the quest of rescuing Maximius and later in her battle against the Firebringer. Several years later, Jamto keeps serving House Julanius until his last breath, dying a heroic death in the Second Battle of the Erakleos War during the Great War.

Jamto continued serving as commander on the front lines, ultimately dying a hero's death at the Second Battle of the Erakleos Wall during the Great War.
Other Stories[]
Jamto appears in Provincia Jusitania, accompanying Mondo who's been seen surveying the area. Jamto is seen standing near Lupagal Cave, telling the protagonist that there appears to be people from Grumon inside and that is dangerous to approach it.
Jamto later appears accompanying the other Urpina's retainers in battle, such as when Zigor appears near Saqqara looking for someone to test the responsiveness of House Erakleos.

Jamto is usable exclusively on Urpina's side of the story, being automatically recruited at the start of the game.
Performance[]
For a starter character, Jamto is very good stat and performance-wise, being able to remain consistent until the endgame fulfilling a very good role as a protector. As with other protectors, giving him the Aes Elemental Weapon will hugely raise his performance in combat.
