The Matriarch plays a major role during the second part of Polka Lynn Wood's story. After the 15 years time skip, a new evil arises and the heroes embark on another journey to save the world.
During these events, to stop Bertrand and the subjugated Young Boy, the heroes climb a Grave alongside the Maiden of Lance where she has a vision of her future self restoring her memories of her past battle with the Sinistrals.
With her newfound memories and aided by her three generals Ferdinand, Paulus and Vassault, she guides Jo on her quest to defeat and free her brother Bert from the Fake Archfiend's hold.
